The Sales and Marketing Support Specialist assists and manages the sales & marketing of products and services internally and with external partners. We are looking for an independent, assertive and creative marketing professional to help promote and sell our products and services.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Support and facilitate development and implementation of marketing plans/promos/projects
• Public relations efforts
o Promote articles to be published in print and online publications
o Develop relationships with journalists in order to promote the CEO as a resource
o Manage and distribute press releases
• Work with external vendors and consultants
• Conduct Market research on new product and service offerings
• Assist in the achievement of company objectives through related sales & marketing duties
• Monitor competition
• Track metrics -- converting leads to prospects; prospects to clients
• Likes through Facebook
• Schedule marketing deployments thru Hootsuite
• Manage lead flow process from marketing efforts
• Create email templates to respond to web leads
• Manage template collateral materials (one sheets, whitepapers, presentations, LOA, proposals)
• Database management -- move leads through process: from lead -> opportunity -> client/account
• Liaison between customers and internal team members
• Coordinate and manage projects as needed
o Including social media marketing strategy
o Lead/Client nurturing campaigns
• Edits materials according to specific market or customer requirements
• Manage marketing suppliers/materials including marketing collateral and print copies
• Manage databases -- salesforce.com; data.com; training rosters, current/past clients, other lists
• Manage the process of signing up prospects to our newsletter and webinars
• Manage connections through LinkedIn
QUALIFICATION/SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
A degree in Marketing, Business or Communications
Excellent written, verbal and listening skills
Effective time management skills
Strong inter-personal and customer service skills
Ability to work independently
Good computer skills including Microsoft Office, CRM and other related programs
