Description:
The Clubhouse Bar & Grill is currently looking for both full-time and part-time Line Cooks to join our culinary team. We are one of the busiest food and beverage facilities in Coronado and our business is steadily growing.
Along with providing amazing a la carte dining for our members on a daily basis, we also operate a high volume banquet facility. As a Line Cook you will be responsible for the following:
Closing Line Cook (12:00pm-8:00pm):
• Prepare and execute lunch, happy hour and dinner menu items
• Assist in banquet preparation and service
• Breaking down the line, i.e. cleaning and restocking
(reach-ins, grill, sauté station, fryer, salad station, griddle, etc.)
• Complete kitchen cleaning and closing checklist nightly
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years culinary/kitchen experience
- Must be able to work all stations in kitchen including banquet cook, broiler cook, sauté cook
- The ability to read and scale recipes
- Knowledge of English a must
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds and work at least 8 hours standing per day
- Knowledge of from scratch cooking
- Culinary degree preferred
Written Basic Skills Test required when applying.
